Instrumentation Engineer

Location: Thane

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding the material requisition of the project.
• Study the P&ID and Finalize the control philosophy with the process engineer.
• Planning of execution of the project according to the lead time of material availability & manufacturing time.
• Assigning work to the subordinate.
• Ensuring the manufacturing is being done according to the requirement.
• Attending & giving solutions to the manufacturers'/contractor's technical queries.
• Providing the Manufacturing schedule to the manufacturer/contractor.
• Checking of indent & purchase order.
• Ensuring the given schedule is being followed by the manufacturer/contractor.
• Ensuring the stock items in the factory is being maintained as per the requirement.
• Ensuring faulty material is being returned & replaced on case to case basis.
• Extending support to site engineers regarding Instrumentation/Electrical/ Automation.
• Resolving clients queries if there is any.
• Educating site engineers on instruments/ Electrical troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting the issues related to Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Automation.
• Coordinating with process & project department for technically Finalizing the instruments.
• Helping marketing team with cost estimation & technical qualification.
• Suggesting something that could bring down the complexity & bring up the effectiveness.
• Cost optimization in terms of material, manpower, time etc. in manufacturing.
• Cost optimization is being done on the basis of application & requirement.
• Educating new electrical engineer on Instrumentation/Electrical/Automation.
• Gathering information on issues and finding best possible solution that results in saving cost & time.
• Awareness of IMS of ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) & ISO 45001:2018 (OH&SMS) and ISO 9001:2015 (QMS).

Preferred candidate profile

• BE in Instrumentation
• Immediate - 15 days joiners preferred
