Key Responsibilities
Financial
Budget and achieve revenue for the vertical every year
Build relations to explore new markets & opportunities for expansion / growth
Improve productivity and resource utilization to impact profitability.
Business Process
Analyse portfolio information based on requirements of Insurance Company
Ensure team gets quotes from reinsurers for various lines of business
Prepare Slips and structure for Treaty / RI requirements
Compare RI Quotes and terms
Ensure successful placement with rated reinsurers within stipulated time
Ensure operating systems are always updated accurately
Ensure Complete documentation as per SOP immediately after each placement
Follow IRDA regulations with respect to reinsurance placements
The team should always be in touch with the Insurance Companies so as to assess the RI requirements.
Self-updated/ Continuous monitoring and tracking of various developments in Global and Local market on competition to capitalize on the opportunities available.
Liaise with reinsurers for placement of business through worldwide networking and database analysis
Ensure proper and timely service on technical accounts, claims and in settlement.
Submit MIS to management within specified timelines.
