Roles and Responsibilities:

Finance Dynamo:

1. Budgeting Wizard: Lead our budgeting endeavors, ensuring fiscal discipline and insightful MIS-based performance analysis.
2. Cash Flow Guardian: Establish and manage policies for creditors and debtors, ensuring smooth financial operations.
3. Transaction Coordinator: Oversee receivables and payables, ensuring timely collections and payments.

SOP Reporting Innovator:

1. System Guru: Spearheaded the accounting systems on Zoho, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. SOP Reformer: Assess and enhance SOPs, driving continuous improvement.
3. Reporting Analyst: Generate and refine reports, revealing insights to guide business decisions.

Compliance Architect:

1. Regulatory Expert: Ensure meticulous record-keeping and compliance with tax, labor laws, and regulatory standards.
2. Security and Compliance Leader: Champion SOC 2 and ISO 27001 initiatives, underscoring our security and information management commitment.
3. Governance Hawk: Organise, manage, and execute cross-function audits and oversee the digital records management for compliance keeping the leadership team and functional department heads accountable.

Requirements

1. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, passed on the first attempt.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, compliance, or accounting.
3. Proficiency in English - we are a US-India team, and clear communication is essential.
4. Expertise in compliance frameworks, tax laws, and financial governance.
