Urgent Requirement for a listed API Mfg. Pharmaceuticals Company - "Manager/Sr Manager-Marketing & Domestic Sales(API & Intermediates)" located at Mumbai.
Experience - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in domestic sales and marketing, preferably in B2B or similar industries.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Sales Growth & Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve domestic sales growth
- Drive sales conversions by focusing on active inquiries and closing deals with target customers.
- Identify new opportunities within the domestic market to expand the customer base and enhance market share.
2. Lead Conversion & Customer Focus:
- Follow up diligently with customers who have received samples, DMFs, or technical materials to convert leads into loyal customers.
- Leverage and maintain a robust database of leads and inquiries, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
- Foster strong relationships to create fan customers by providing excellent service and exceeding expectations.
3. Marketing Strategies & Customer Outreach:
- Plan and execute impactful email and WhatsApp marketing campaigns tailored to target customer segments.
- Conduct regular phone calls and schedule personal visits to key domestic customers and leads to build rapport and trust.
- Represent the company at domestic events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen the brand and build networks.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate authentic and likeable interactions with customers, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Focus on customer retention by addressing needs proactively and providing exceptional post-sales support.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operational teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Report progress regularly to senior management, including updates on sales performance, lead conversions, and customer feedback.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in driving domestic sales growth and achieving significant revenue targets.
- Expertise in converting leads and inquiries into long-term customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in email and WhatsApp marketing, with a focus on targeted engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track sales metrics and optimize efforts.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in domestic sales and marketing, preferably in B2B or similar industries.
- Proven success stories of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- A bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, meetings, and marketing campaigns.
