Quality Analyst (Games)

Job Title: QA Analyst

Location: Pitampura

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing processes, covering functionality, performance, and regression.

● Automation Testing: Design and implement automated test scripts for game mechanics, backend functions, APIs, and data processes, ensuring robust coverage across the system.

● Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs in collaboration with developers, providing detailed reproduction steps and impact analysis.

● Regression & Performance Testing: Run regression tests on new releases and conduct performance testing to monitor system stability and scalability under different conditions.

● Collaborate Across Teams: Work with developers, game designers, and project managers to ensure testing aligns with project goals and timelines.

● Maintain Testing Documentation: Update test cases, track test results, and contribute to quality documentation and testing processes.

● Quality Improvement: Participate in quality reviews, propose improvements to testing methodologies, and advocate for best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements:

● Testing Skills: Proficiency in both automation and manual testing, with experience in automated testing frameworks and testing strategies.

● Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages (such as Python, JavaScript, or similar) and experience with game testing environments, APIs, and backend testing.

● Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities to identify, isolate, and thoroughly document issues.

● Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to convey issues and coordinate effectively with the development team.

● Game Development Understanding: Knowledge of gaming engines (e.g., Unity) and backend development concepts is a plus.
