Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:


Support UL Solutions (ULS) Talent Acquisition team in South Asia & MEA by work closely as they source and select the brightest and best talent to join ULS. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating the white glove candidate experience ULS prides itself on. Working with hiring managers and candidates at all levels, as well as the broader HR team, this position provides a unique opportunity to make a huge impact on the recruiting process.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support members of a fast-paced Talent Acquisition Team with interview scheduling, candidate communications management, assessment administration, travel coordination and new hire onboarding.
  • Provide a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience with every interaction, both virtually and in person.
  • Manage the open requisition process and post jobs to our internal website, internal job board and to various external sources.
  • Handle all interview scheduling, working as the conduit between the recruiter, hiring manager, interview teams and the candidate.
  • Administer required assessments throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity and compliance; Conduct applicant tracking system audits and make associated corrections in the HRIS or Applicant Tracking System (Oracle) as appropriate.
  • Respond to all internal and external recruiting-related inquiries in a timely manner, direct escalations to the proper source for information and follow up as appropriate.
  • Greet candidates onsite and make them feel welcome and excited for their interviews.
  • Coordinate candidate pre-employment checks and serve as the primary contact with third-party vendors to ensure timely and proper facilitation of candidate status
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
  • Performs other duties as directed.

EDUCATION & KNOWHOW:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related discipline preferred
  • 1-2+ years' experience in a similar position
  • Highly proficient in Google Apps and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (Oracle) a plus
  • Able to meet deadlines while multi-tasking
  • Desire to learn new tasks, take initiative, and take on increasing responsibility
  • Detail-oriented
  • Operate independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable working with and supporting a decentralized team of colleagues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
