This is an important position that will drive this business in therespective cluster. The position is responsible for overallgrowth and success of the Working Capital business in thecluster.
Incoordination with the branch, credit & product teams,identifies suitable branches and locations for MSME business andgets the locations activated. Ensures proper goal setting,resource planning, marketing and sourcing of MSME business.Identifying legal and technical evaluators in the locationsduring expansion.
Buildefficient team of Relationship Managers in the Branches assigned.
Overseethe performance of the MSME Working Capital portfolio of his/hercluster and branch in terms of growth (amount and client base)and productivity of RMs by guiding them and carrying outconstructive reviews of their performance
Overallresponsible for the control of portfolio in his/her cluster, riskassessment and recovery strategies.
Self/ DSA / Branch sourcing to meet his/her targets
Workclosely with product and marketing team to drive suitablebranding and marketing activities in his/her respective cluster.
SIZEOF THE ROLE
MonthlyBusiness volume as per the business target. Mapping of 3 4 RMs, with monthly Fresh Limit set-up of around 3 5 Cr
TimelyInterest serving, Regular Churning to prevent Delinquency
TimelyRenewal of existing customers, managing 60 100 customers
Coordinationwith Credit Manager for case approval and CAD and Operations forcase disbursement.
MaintainsDaily sales report and review for the Team.
MaintainsDSA tracker for DSA performance monitoring and review
KEYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business/Financials
Daily/Weekly /Monthly monitoring of the accomplishment of targetsaccording to the annual/monthly targets established for thecluster and branches under his/her responsibility to provideguidance and solutions to his/her team as required
Assigntargets and results on daily, weekly, monthly basis of portfolioof risk by different categories such as days in arrears, numberof installment due, amount within his/her Cluster by branch,relationship manager with the objective to identify tendenciesand risks.
SupportsRelationship manager- in his/her area in their duties of clientvisits, risk assessment and recovery strategies
Efficientstaffing by timely recruitment & training
Implement,supervise and control effectiveness of commercial strategy withhis/her team to reach the productivity and growth targetsestablished.
Approvedeviations and exceptions according to policy in place.
Customer(Both Internal & External)
Ensurecustomers are educated about all products/services offered byUjjivan.
Ensurelower customer attrition by providing different products as percustomer requirement.
Focuson lower TAT as per laid down standards.
InternalProcess
Ensurecompliance with lending guidelines, quality framework and auditrequirements; ensure speedy resolution of any audit observationsand take necessary steps to prevent recurrence audit and otherregulations.
Monitorhealth of portfolio
Ensure,supervise the correct implementation of the credit proceduresincluding all the respective tools
Discussstrategies and changes in terms of products, capacity building,procedures etc.
Innovation& Learning
Ensurethat all members of his team are up to date on all relevantcirculars and all products/services offered in the Branch
Evaluatethe staff competences in terms of promotion, business assessmentand credit risk assessment capacity and propose solutions forimprovement
Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs forself and reportees
Ensuregoal-setting, mid-year review and annual appraisal process withinspecified timelines for self and reportees
Monitorperformance of staff against defined goals/metrics and takecorrective action wherever required; undertake disciplinary andattendance monitoring of the team.
MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational
Qualifications
AnMBA or equivalent / CA with 4-6 Year experience. In case of otherGraduate, 8-10-year overall experience with 5 years relevantexperience
Experience
48-yearexperience in sales and documentation of loans of which at least3 years in MSME Working Capital business - OD/CC/WCTL/BG. Mixedexperience of Sales & Credit is acceptable, but should bepredominantly in sales
Certifications
Relevantcertifications shall be an added advantage. This is Non-mandatory
FunctionalSkills
Abilityto create teams and drive sales performance. Will be required totake complete ownership of the business at Cluster level.
Abilityto engage with customers, Plan & execute Marketing and Salespromotion
Abilityto speak and read regional language(s)- is desirable. Ability tocommunicate in English (Read-speak-write) is required. Has goodverbal fluency and uses simple, clear and purposeful language.
