AEM UI Lead

Responsibilities

• Produce great front end code
• You enjoy producing clean, easy to read, semantic HTML markup and CSS, adhering to W3C specs and best practices
• Youre skilled at architecting modular, maintainable, and extensible CSS code (Deep experiences with SASS a major plus)
• You re also deeply familiar with jQuery and the best plugins
• Leverage modular CSS methodologies like BEM, OOCSSDevelop new user-facing features based on provided designs and style systemBuild reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize front-end pages for maximum speed and scalability, with a focus on Core Web VitalsEnsure pages adhere to accessibility standards specifically WCAG 2.2 AA conformance
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-endCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersEnsure the application scales well across browsers (Cross Browser Testing)Build UI components using Storybook
• Experience in using Figma a plusKey capabilitiesProficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3Proficient understanding of core web vitals and techniques for optimizing page load timesStrong knowledge of Twitter Bootstrap framework and Responsive Design using media queriesStrong background of frontend development tools such as npm and webpack
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASSExperience writing cross-browser and cross-platform markup, styles, and JavaScript
• Ability to write custom JavaScript, as well as work with popular JavaScript tools such as jQueryCollaborate with cross functional teams to integrate UI components into a content management system
