Sr Obiee Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Designs and develops new OBIEE reports, dashboards and ODI ETL processes following best practices.
• OBIEE configuration, extension, and support in Oracle EBS R12 environment.
• Assists the Lead BI & Development Manager of BI in executing the global BI Strategy and Vision in line with the companys goals and objectives.
• Maintain consistent Business Intelligence technical architecture along with standards, policies, procedures, measures and organizational enhancements
• Collaborates with the Business to gather business requirements, design, develop and implement OBIEE reporting solutions.
• Provide on-call support on an as needed basis.
• Responsible for full lifecycle knowledge and support of OBIEE including business analysis, design, development, ETL, testing, deployment and support.
• Ensures that Business Intelligence services meet the required service support levels.
• Works with Internal Audit and supports SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications.
• Some international travel may be required to support global business requirements.

Requirements :

• BE/Btech / ME/ MTech in CSE or MCA
• 10+ years of rich experience in OBIEE with 1- or 2-years experience in OAC.
• Strong expertise in the development of ODI (11g/12c), RPD code
• Experience in installing Oracle Analytics (OBIA - inclusive of all the underlying components such as ODI, BI Admin Tool (for RPD), OBIEE etc.)
• Hands on experience in handling OAC development and configuration
• Hands on experience in DDR reports development / troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS R12 data model (tables)
• Expertise with Oracle SQL Developer or similar query tools and strong understanding of PL/SQL and SQL Tuning
• Experience in Power BI is a strong plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse principles and practices.
• Strong team player, partnering with senior/executive management and individual contributors.
• Excellent presentation/communication skills.
