Job Description
- Design and implement the visual elements of web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
- Ensure the application is responsive, user-friendly, and works seamlessly across different devices and browsers.
- Optimize the user interface for speed and efficiency.
- Back-End Development:
- Develop server-side logic, APIs, and databases using programming languages like Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, etc.
- Build and maintain databases (SQL or NoSQL) and handle data storage, queries, and optimization.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the application.
- Collaboration & Integration:
- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process.
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services into applications.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Testing & Debugging:
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure the quality of code.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously improve application performance and user experience.
- Deployment & Maintenance:
- Deploy web applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Maintain and update applications to ensure they are running smoothly and securely.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Document code, processes, and workflows for internal reference.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Expertise in back-end technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc.).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL: MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure management.
- Prior experience with mobile app development or progressive web apps (PWA) is a plus.
