About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Incharge to lead and manage sales operations in a designated geographic area. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, overseeing the performance of the sales team, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies.
You will play a critical role in building customer relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Management: Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned area. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the companys market presence in the assigned region. Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive sales opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives to enhance performance and build a high-performing sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure continuous improvement. Ensure effective territory management, resource allocation, and sales coverage for optimal results. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and customers in the region. Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a timely manner. Identify new business opportunities by engaging with potential customers and developing long-term partnerships.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts and report on sales performance, market conditions, and opportunities.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and provide insights to senior management on sales trends and targets. Monitor competitor activity and market developments, reporting relevant information to leadership for strategic decision-making. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets within the assigned territory. Develop and implement plans for market expansion, penetration, and growth. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive brand visibility and sales.
Inventory & Order Management: Ensure product availability, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery to clients. Monitor and manage orders, deliveries, and returns efficiently to maintain smooth operations. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities. Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and relevant documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales management,Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and customers.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing sales teams and territories.
Knowledge of local market conditions and customer base in the assigned region..
