Required Skills :

Technical Expertise: 4-10 years of strong experience in Python, with a proven ability to write clean, efficient code and optimize quality through comprehensive code reviews.

Code Review & Quality Control: Expertise in conducting code reviews to enhance performance and maintain high standards of data quality, with a focus on quality assurance practices.

Tool Customisation & Automation: Hands-on experience in customizing annotation tools and automating tasks to increase operational efficiency.

Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, guide them through technical challenges, and mentor junior members to support their professional growth.

Conflict Resolution & Resource Management: Strong skills in resolving conflicts and managing resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Adept at explaining complex technical issues to diverse audiences, delivering constructive feedback, and providing clear updates to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in driving process improvements alongside engineering teams.

What does day-to-day life look like?

Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of LLM code, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Tool Optimisation: Implement customizations and automation to improve team workflows and efficiency.

Team Leadership :

- Lead a small team, providing technical guidance and setting clear expectations for project success.

Collaboration :

- Coordinate with engineering and other teams to ensure technical requirements for data are met.

Process Improvement :

- Continuously assess and enhance team processes and workflows to drive productivity.

Stakeholder Interaction :

- Regularly communicate project updates and address any technical requirements from stakeholders.

- Expertise in conducting code reviews to enhance performance and maintain high standards of data quality, with a focus on quality assurance practices.

- Hands-on experience in customizing annotation tools and automating tasks to increase operational efficiency.

- Experience with databases, SQL or NoSQL.

- Knowledge in an Agile software development environment,

- Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc..).

- Have a real passion for clean code and finding elegant solutions to problems.

- Knowledge and abilities in python and cloud-based technologies.

- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, guide them through technical challenges, and mentor junior members to support their professional growth.

- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.

- Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.

- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

- Design, develop, and maintain Microservices using Python to ensure high performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Microservices architecture best practices.

- Design, implement, and maintain systems that utilize queueing services for asynchronous communication

We all work Monday through Friday for 8 hours each day. 4 hours of each day will be worked from 8:30 pm IST to 12:30 am IST so that there are 4 hours of overlap with PST time zone.
