Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- We are building a PoC in legal/accounting space, and we need a machine learning/data/backend engineering expertise to take our existing data and build us a search engine on top of it. Think chat-with-PDF for our specific usecase
- The project is still in its initial stages so we require a person well versed in solution architecture in machine learning/data engineering space, with an experience with data regulation, and data securtiy
- Depending on the success and scope of PoC, we may need additional team members, but for now, you will be expected to run the project alone, from initial requirements gathering and solution architecture to coding.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Prolific and in-depth knowledge of Machine learning, with a focus on NLP
- Experience working in highly regulated environments, preferably in legal space
- Experience with PDF analysis, and OCR
- Experience with Data Engineering, and Backend Engineering
- Knowledge about modern LLMs and their capabilities
- Experience with Sharepoint and AccessDB is a bonus
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
