Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and scale our Shopify store (Vue.js/React.js+Shopify Theme) to integrate CMS
- Thrive in a team mission-driven fast-paced startup environment
- Work with an agile engineering team autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Create pages with various UI components, such as hero, banner, and dynamic page layouts
- Work on a variety of e-commerce projects: those that directly impact customer experience, including marketing promotions, product launches, and store feature enhancements related to bundling, loyalty, personalization, subscription and merchandising programs
- Build reusable components, in clean and easy to maintain code - factoring in analytics tracking SEO
- Work closely with UI/UX designer to translate UI mockups into working code
- Build animated UI features with varying complexity - heavy focus on mobile experience
- Collaborate with Digital Products and Ecommerce Marketing team on running promotions, product launches, and configuring AB testing
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, React or Vue.js or other front-end frameworks
- Competent in advanced CSS and CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS
- Prior experience using Shopify platform back-end, Recharge subscriptions, Sanity CMS, and Vue.js 3/Tailwind UI
- Interest or previous experience in eCommerce preferred; Shopify experience is a big plus
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and autonomously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss technical matters with non-technical team
- Ability to take ownership of your work while being open-minded and learning new things
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
