DevOps Engineer

• Debug/troubleshoot and fix issues in the production environment by working with all stakeholders
• Work on multiple projects and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements
• Help deliver functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise within the team and cross-team
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, devise, and meet project schedules
• Remove any need for manual intervention and debugging into the system
• Work in scrums/sprints with engineering teams daily
• Identify broader issues and implications for the whole product/team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4-6+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
• Extensive experience with Python, Shell, Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), Kubernetes ecosystem, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)
• Prolific experience with Infrastructure automation, Automation and Scripting, Networking, Linux container, and cluster management
• Experience in architecting and implementing Azure Service Offering, like Azure VMs, Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS), Azure Load Balancers, SQL database, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, Azure network settings, DNS settings, security policies, Routing, Azure storage and Azure Active Directory (AD), etc.
• Experience with high throughput microservices, Kubernetes to deploy scale, load balance, and managing Docker containers
• Working knowledge of build automation and building CI/CD pipelines in Kubernetes and related ecosystems like Helm and skaffold
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as a code (IaC), e.g., Terraform
• Demonstrable experience in configuring the monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus/Grafana, dashboarding, Alerts setup, etc.
• Solid understanding of observability and traceability
• Strong computer fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Solid capacity to adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities
