Back-End Engineer

• Design, build and ship back-end services for millions of users to support international expansion
• Ship innovative products and research that will improve the platform's capacity to comprehend and grow its global user base
• Make a significant contribution to team strategy and encourage participation in future planning
• Communicate effectively within the team and across disciplines while working closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences
• Advocate for a healthy engineering culture while mentoring the team
• Discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Experience with multiple parts of the back-end stack like databases, networking, and efficient computing
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Prior experience deploying with Docker/k8s on AWS
• Ability to design and implement complex distributed systems operating under high load
• Experience developing customer-facing public applications is nice to have
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment
