SRE Engineer

• Partner with development teams to define and implement service architectural improvements
• Enhance the customer environments' availability, scalability, latency, and effectiveness
• Support and create automation tools that allow product teams to efficiently and consistently write and release code
• Make sure applications are reliable and accessible according to consumer demands

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an SRE Engineer
• Prior experience utilizing Hashicorp Terraform and building and maintaining code for platform deployment and lifecycle in AWS
• Thorough understanding of AWS services, including how to use them and how to provision and configure them
• Nice to have some experience with Cognito
• Demonstrable working knowledge of Bash and Python
• Track record of designing and maintaining both declarative and scripting Jenkins pipelines
• Extensive practical experience with multi-layered builds using Gradle
• Proven competence with the Git source control system
• Solid networking and system administration skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complicated issues
• Extensive experience and skills in operating and administering PostgreSQL databases
• Prolific Jira story and defect management experience
• Proficient knowledge of Linux systems administration, with knowledge of both RHEL- and Debian-based platforms
• Prior experience utilizing Docker Compose or related technologies to create and deploy containerized apps, including orchestrators and single-node templates
• Prior Node.js experience is preferred
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
