Get familiar with automated test execution and integrate it into the software development processCollaborate with internal stakeholders and leaders to strategize rolloutEstablish strong communication between cross-functional teams and identify automation areas to further increase the business s product qualityBrainstorm and implement improvements to existing frameworks, tools, and processesMaintain and review business technology and processes to stay ahead of the curveAnalyze requirement specifications and provide meaningful feedbackRegularly review test case coverage in the company s test management tool and keep it updatedCreate and monitor post-production metrics Job Requirements:Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 3+ years of relevant experience as an SDET Back-End Automation EngineerProven experience building API automation and automation framework for back-end servicesExpertise in building frameworks and test tools Java, Groovy, Kotlin, Scala, Python, Jenkins, or similar CI/-CD toolsExperience with Shell Scripting and Linux/ Mac OSX for either back-end or front-end servicesComprehensive knowledge of BDD testing frameworks such as Spock, Cucumber, or JBehavePast experience as a QA automation engineer Thorough expertise in programming skills including automation systems and databasesFamiliarity with programming script languages such as Java and KotlinUnderstanding of microservice automationIn-depth knowledge of the BDD testing paradigm Familiarity working with an Agile development process (Scrum/ Kanban/ Scrumban)Thorough knowledge of application functions, testing, and bug-fixing protocolsGreat analytical skillsAbility to effectively communicate in English Strong attention to detail
