Data Engineer

• Construct a one-time product engagement analytics setup
• Provide tools for building metrics for Active Users (DAU, WAU, MAU), session duration, P2P and group messages delivered, stickers for reactions, and retention/churn
• Mainly on the ELK Stack, collaborate closely with product managers and back-end engineers to create endpoints for metrics dashboards and create dashboards that the management, product, engineering, and investor/partner stakeholders may use
• Create and plan the best-sized and economical solutions for project's infrastructure needs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
• Extensive experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana)
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js/Express.js, and Firebase Realtime Database
• Familiarity with Ansible/Chef - CI/CD tools and automation languages like Ruby/Python/Bash
• Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus that is used for system usage statistics
• Fluent in spoken and written English communication
