We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Release Manger to our dynamic team.
The role is a combination of two fields of expertise:.
Managing and guiding our scrum teams, ensuring adherence to agile principles, and driving continuous improvement.
Managing the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overall coordination of software releases across multiple applications and platforms.
The ideal candidate has a passion for agile methodologies and possess strong leadership and communication skills, required to be successful collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, minimize disruptions, and guarantee high-quality releases.

Guide teams to higher scrum maturity and ensure adherence to process and adoption of JIRA.
Establish metrics to drive continuous improvement (Velocity, Burndown, Estimation).
Ensure and enable effective collaboration across scrum teams, product management, business stakeholders.
Release Planning and Coordination:.
Develop release plans and schedules in collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams.
Coordinate release activities across various teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
Oversee the execution of the release process, including code deployment, configuration, and environment setup.
Manage the deployment of software releases to testing, staging, and production environments.
Ensure that all release artifacts are appropriately versioned and stored.
Identify potential risks and issues related to releases and develop mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve release-related problems, working closely with development and operations teams.
Ensure proper rollback procedures are in place and tested.
Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related inquiries and communications.
Provide regular status updates and release progress reports to stakeholders.
Document release processes, policies, and procedures for future reference.
Analyze release metrics and feedback to identify areas for process improvement.
Implement best practices for release management to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in release management tools and techniques.
Your background should ideally include:.
At least 8 years of experience working with engineering teams in the role of ScrumMaster, Release management, software development, or a related role.
A clear understanding of the Scrum/Agile process Demonstrates in-expertise in Agile methodology and best practices of Scrum.
Must have proven ability to use Scrum and broader principles of Agile to achieve incremental improvement of product and process.
Expertise in Scrum Artefacts: Product Backlog grooming, User Story Mapping, Story Point estimation (sizing), Velocity planning, Maintaining and using burn-down charts to drive consistency and predictability in driving releases.
Create Definitions of Ready before accepting user stories into a Sprint.
Must be able to define Definitions of Done for user stories to be shippable.
Proven track record of managing complex software releases in an agile environment.
Proficiency in release management tools (e g , Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, GitLab CI/CD).
Bonus points for experience collaborating within a global context, engaging with colleagues across Asia, Europe, and the US.
Bonus points for experience within the Supply Chain Traceability and Fashion industries.
