1Job Summary.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Collections Executive. The Collections Executive will be responsible for managing the collection efforts of outstanding accounts receivable balances. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively negotiate with clients to secure payment.
2.Roles & Responsibilities.
Collection Management: Initiate and maintain contact with clients regarding overdue payments. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding balances. Monitor accounts to identify delinquent payments and proactively address collection issues.
Communication: Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure prompt payment. Provide excellent customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding outstanding balances.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and client interactions. Prepare and send collection letters and statements as necessary.
Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports on collection activities, outstanding balances, and collection trends. Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of accounts receivable and collection efforts.
Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and billing issues. Collaborate with internal departments such as billing and accounts receivable to resolve client disputes and ensure timely payment.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to debt collection practices. Stay informed about changes in collection laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to collection practices.
