Key Responsibilities:
Device Assembly:
Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to build medical devices accurately.
Assemble components and sub-assemblies using various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Follow established procedures to ensure proper alignment, fitting, and functionality of assembled parts.
Quality Control and Testing:
Perform visual inspections and functional tests on assembled medical devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or deviations from specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspection and test results.
Sterilization and Packaging:
Assist in the sterilization and packaging of finished medical devices, following proper protocols and guidelines.
Ensure that devices are properly labeled, packaged, and sealed to maintain their sterility and integrity.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
Clean and maintain assembly equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, quality assurance, and production supervisors, to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
Communicate effectively with team members to share insights, challenges, and solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance assembly techniques, efficiency, and product quality.
Contribute to discussions on process optimization and provide feedback based on hands-on experience.
