Product Design : Creating and developing mechanical designs for various products, machines, or components. 3D Modeling : Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies. Analysis : Conducting structural, thermal, and other analyses to ensure the design meets performance and safety requirements. Material Selection : Recommending suitable materials for components based on mechanical properties and cost-effectiveness. Prototyping : Building prototypes and conducting tests to evaluate design concepts and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration : Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturers, and project managers, to ensure designs align with project objectives. Cost Optimization : Finding ways to reduce production costs while maintaining design integrity and quality. Documentation : Preparing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to guide the manufacturing process. Qualifications : A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
