Mechanical Design Engineer ( MEP )

A Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems that meet the technical requirements of a product or project. Responsibilities : 1. Design and develop mechanical systems : Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed design drawings and models for mechanical components and systems. 2. Develop prototypes : Create and test prototypes of mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet technical specifications and design requirements. 3. Troubleshoot and problem-solve : Identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 4. Perform design analysis : Use analytical tools to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs. Requirements : 1. Proficient in CAD software : Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA. 2. Knowledge of mechanical design principles : In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. 3. Familiarity with engineering standards : Knowledge of engineering standards, such as ASME, ASTM, and ISO, and regulatory requirements. 4. Problem-solving skills : Ability to identify and solve technical problems related to mechanical components and systems. 5. Experience with prototyping and testing : Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical components and systems. 6. Analytical skills : Ability to use analytical tools to assess the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.
