Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit notes, debit notes, and collections.
• Perform accounts reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments.
• Oversee accounts handling activities such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger postings.
• Ensure timely payment reminders to customers through email or phone calls.
• Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges
• Matching payments to invoice numbers
• Handling customer inquiries regarding ledger issues
• Managing an Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files
• Submitting daily reports to management on accounts receivable operations
• Prepare daily/weekly outstanding reports.
• Follow-up on customer payments.
• Quarterly ledger reconciliation and ask for the balance confirmation from the customers.
• Collection report unit/Salesperson wise
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable role with a strong background in B2C sales.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Com) from any specialization; MBA/CA Intermediate preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP9 software is essential; knowledge of other accounting packages like Zoho Books or QuickBooks an added advantage.
