Job Description

As a UI/UX Designer at Trimble, you will be working with a global design team. You will be leading UI/UX design activities for web and mobile software solutions that support users in the construction field - translating high-level requirements into engaging user experiences.
This role requires you to have a deep understanding of platform level design fundamentals. This role requires a prior experience of working with a team of engineers and product managers in defining a design system.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with the core design team to work on the platform-level design integrations
Define design systems.
Work with project mangers and engineers to check the feasibility
Create user personas, customer journeys and task workflows
Design workflows that optimise the usability of the entire workflow
Usability test design prototypes
Create high fidelity designs and design assets
Ability to create good quality design documents like design pitches and design guidelines
Support implementation of high fidelity design by development teams
Become the local champion and advocate of user experience design and process with the local stakeholders

Qualifications:

An undergraduate or post-graduation degree in Design or Visual Communication preferably from IITs and NID.
2+ years of experience as a design professional with a Strong background in user-centered design principles across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
Fluency with common design products such as Figma
A portfolio to showcase a depth of understanding of design fundamentals and processes.
An eagerness to learn about all things UX/UI
Attention and love for beautiful detail.
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
Capacity to learn by doing, and willingness to accept direction
Willingness to contribute your own creativity and originality
This role requires a prior experience in designing a design system
