Production Manager (Farming & Team Management)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily sowing operations and ensure the smooth functioning of day to day target activities.
• Lead and mentor a team, guiding them through daily challenges and agricultural tasks.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for farm activities, focusing on efficiency and quality.
• Manage farm operations in multiple locations (Pune district, Konkan, Ooty, etc.).
• Conduct R&D activities, with the potential for international travel for research and development purposes.

Preferred candidate profile

• A degree in Agriculture (BSc Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field) or Diploma in Farming*
• Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in farming, preferably in exotic crops, vegetables, fruits, and flowers.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Willingness to travel within India and internationally for R&D purposes if any
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
