Location - Bangalore

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with expertise in both manual and automation testing for web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservice architecture, test strategy creation, and test plan development. You will play a key role in driving quality across the product development cycle and delivering high-quality solutions.(Based On Interview they will decide on a role.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation test scripts for web and backend applications.
• Develop and execute test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Automate testing for microservices and ensure scalability and platform integration.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improvements.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for testing and deployment.
• Use Linux and bash scripting for DevOps test automation.
• Troubleshoot issues with tools like Splunk and Sentry.
• Maintain test environments in AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS) for automation.
• Contribute to testing best practices within an Agile environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and testing challenges.
• Expertise in test strategy, Python or .NET for automation, and SQL.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI), Docker, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Linux, AWS services, Jira, and Confluence.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) experience.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Sentry, and Git.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
