Job Description
- Safety and Guidance:Assisting the trek leader in ensuring the safety and well-being of the trekking group throughout the journey
- Providing guidance and support to participants, especially in challenging terrains or adverse weather conditions
- Logistics and Coordination:Assisting in the organization of trekking logistics, such as accommodation, meals, and equipment
- Coordinating with local guides, porters, or support staff to ensure smooth operations during the trek
- Customer Service and Communication:Interacting with trekkers, addressing their queries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the trek
- Communicating instructions, guidelines, and safety protocols clearly to participants
- Emergency Preparedness:Assisting in handling emergencies, first aid situations, or evacuation procedures when necessary
- Being prepared to handle unforeseen situations and making decisions prioritizing safety
- Environmental Awareness:Educating trekkers about responsible trekking practices, environmental conservation, and Leave No Trace principles
