Business Development & Tendering

Role & responsibilities

1. Business Development:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the construction industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior management to define business growth strategies, set objectives, and meet company sales targets.
• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and client requirements.
• Develop and implement a business development plan to expand the company's market share and ensure long-term growth.
2. Tendering and Proposal Management:
• Participate in the preparation, coordination, and submission of tenders and proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and other bid opportunities.
• Prepare presentation pertaining to industry scenario and market capturing
• Analyze tender documents to understand requirements, deadlines, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with various internal departments (e.g., engineering, finance, procurement) to gather necessary information for the bid process.
• Develop detailed and persuasive proposals that align with client requirements and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all tender regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
3. Client Relationship Management:
• Engage with clients at all stages of the project lifecycle, from pre-tender phase through project award and post-project follow-up.
• Understand client needs and align company offerings to meet those needs effectively.
• Provide after-sales support and feedback to ensure client satisfaction and potential for repeat business.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Postgraduate with 8 10 years of experience in business development, tendering, and proposal management within the construction industry.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with clients, consultants, and industry professionals specifically NHAI, MORTH, NHIDCL, PWDS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
