Transport Planner

• Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor s Degree with Master s degree in transport planning / economics).
• Working experience (7+ years) in Transport Planning softwares like VISUM, SATURN, DIADEM, EMME, VISSIM, LINSIG, JUNCTIONS9, Paramics, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, TUBA, COBA-LT and AMAT assessment.
• Experience and knowledge of Strategic Modelling, Operational Modelling, transport / economic appraisal techniques and guidance including economic cost-benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment.
• Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including high degree of competence in MS Excel
• Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project.
• Some understanding of how appraisal and business case requirements should match client needs and support scheme development.
• Good written communication skills.
• Be able to work Individually.
• Be able to guide/mentor the junior staff.

• Professional membership of a relevant institution.
• Experience in programming skills like Python, PowerBI, Excel-VBA and R.
