About The Job

At Spectro Cloud, we are in search of a talented individual to become an integral part of our Engineering team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Palette platform.

As a software engineer within our organization, you will be at the forefront of building an always-on, self-healing, and declarative platform specifically engineered for the management of both infrastructure and applications. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly by designing, optimizing, and streamlining GoLang-based microservices that serve as the foundation of our platform. Proficiency in Kubernetes is required - it lies at the very heart of our contemporary cloud-native, data center and edge solutions.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the seamless operation of our platform through a combination of automation, scripting, and rigorous testing. Our organization places a strong emphasis on code quality, and your commitment to producing clean and efficient code is highly regarded.

Who we are seeking Were looking for a Senior Accountant to support Spectro Cloud s next phase of growth. The ideal candidate should enjoy a mission-driven, fast paced environment where the work directly impacts the organizational growth. The candidate should have a variety of skills and knowledge about the basic workings of a business and feel confident using those skills on a daily basis. This role will support US operations and they may require US (Pacific Time) hours during month-end close. The ability to come into our office in Bengaluru, India 5 days per week is required for this role.

What You Will Do

• Accounts Payables including processing expense reports, vendor invoices, and preparing daily finance operations and payments reporting

• Accounts Receivables, including invoices in accounting system, recording customer payments, and following up for overdue invoices

• Assist in close procedures, including preparation of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and flux analyses in accordance with close calendar timelines

• Support external audits and internal audits as necessary, including preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and addressing any audit findings or recommendations

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles

• Have operating experiences in Netsuite, QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Trinet, advanced MS Excel and Google Suite

What You ll Need to Be Successful

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

• The ability to be comfortable with the organized chaos of a fast scaling startup environment is a key determinant of success in this role

• Degree in accountancy or other equivalent qualifications

• Solid accounting knowledge, meticulous and detailed oriented

• Strong communication skills and able to work closely with the whole team.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty; embraces change; and approaches work with a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to interface with senior management on a regular basis

• Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality with discretion.
