Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst

The main role is to deliver original and thorough research for our multi-client Advisory Service which comprises in-depth reports, market forecasts and databases. This role involves supporting on each of these areas including authoring reports and developing other content. Additionally you will be required to support on some client-specific custom research projects.

The analyst role has two main progression paths. The first involves building subject matter expertise in specific technology-related areas and ultimately progressing to being a global thought-leader in your areas. The second involves assuming management responsibility for people or products, driving the success of Transforma Insights.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently on a specified field of research. You will have an inquiring mind and an interest in understanding and explaining new emerging technologies. Some analyst roles are very focused on writing, others more on quantitative aspects (e.g. forecasts or databases). We welcome applicants whose preference is either.

This role would best suit someone with experience in technology research, but we welcome applications from candidates with any background. The most important thing is being confident to conduct insightful and thorough research on the relevant topics.

Eligibility

• 1-4 years of relevant work experience. Experience in technology research, telecom research, digital transformation (IoT, Artificial Intelligence ) is preferred but not critical.
• Proven track record of conducting secondary research, designing research strategy, interpreting, and analysing information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicability in resolving research problem.
• Experience of a wide range of research methods/techniques to draft and develop reports to address business requirements.
• Ability to work with software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to be able to provide insights in the most user-friendly format.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with complete fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Work on market research and analysis of vendors in the digital transformation space and organisations with similar product lines.
• Deliver original and thorough research for our multi-client Advisory Service which comprises in-depth reports, market forecasts and databases.
• Developing deep knowledge of technology market segments & organisations, their industry dynamics, and the operational nature of end-user s businesses, to build a comprehensive, fact-based, and data-driven overview of the digital transformation space.
• Adopt and contribute to best practices in research tools and approaches.
• Additionally, the analyst will be required to support on some client-specific custom research projects.
