Develop, implement, and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for EPC projects.
Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, costs, and cash flow.
Prepare and update project financial forecasts, ensuring they align with project schedules and milestones.
Conduct financial analysis to identify areas of potential cost savings or overspending.
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project costs, including materials, labor, overheads, and subcontractor expenses.
Work with the project team to establish realistic budgets and maintain financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and approve payment requests and invoices to ensure they match project deliverables and contractual terms.
Monitor and manage cash flow throughout the project, ensuring timely disbursements and receipts.
Develop and implement strategies for securing project financing, including working with lenders, investors, or other financial institutions.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that funds are available for material purchases and vendor payments.
Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, stakeholders, and clients, highlighting key financial metrics and project performance.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, contractual obligations, and government regulations.
Assist in auditing processes, ensuring the financial integrity of the project and its alignment with company policies and industry best practices.
Identify financial risks associated with the project, such as cost overruns, changes in scope, or market fluctuations, and develop strategies for mitigating these risks.
Ensure that financial controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
Work with legal teams to review contracts and manage financial risks associated with subcontracts, supplier agreements, and client contracts.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and other teams to ensure that financial planning aligns with project schedules and objectives.
Act as the key liaison between the finance department and project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial goals.
Support senior leadership with strategic financial decisions and long-term planning for EPC projects.
