TQuanta Technologies - WebLogic Administrator - JBOSS (3-10 yrs)

Role Purpose :

We are seeking an experienced WebLogic and JBoss Administrator (L3) to manage, configure, and optimize middleware environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of application and web server architecture and be proficient in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring system security. This role involves working in a 24x7 environment with on-call support responsibilities during weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities :

Middleware Administration :

- Manage and maintain WebLogic and JBoss application servers, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patch updates, and domain creation for middleware environments.

- Monitor and troubleshoot application and web servers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Performance Optimization and Problem Resolution :

- Analyze system performance and implement tuning solutions to optimize server and application performance.

- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.

Monitoring and Tools Management :

- Utilize tools like Dynatrace and Splunk for middleware monitoring, performance analysis, and log management.

- Ensure proactive detection and resolution of potential bottlenecks and system failures.

Security and Vulnerability Management :

- Analyze the latest software releases, fix packs, and security advisories to address vulnerabilities.

- Manage digital certificates for web and application servers, ensuring secure communication and compliance with organizational policies.

Scripting and Automation :

- Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate routine tasks, streamline deployments, and enhance system efficiency.

24x7 Support :

- Provide round-the-clock support, including participation in on-call rotations during weekends and holidays.

- Respond promptly to incidents and outages, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of service.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including application developers, network engineers, and security teams, to support project requirements and system enhancements.

- Communicate technical information effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Mandatory Skills :

WebLogic Administration (L3) :

- Advanced knowledge of WebLogic Server architecture, including domain configuration, clustering, and high availability.

- Expertise in installing, upgrading, and patching WebLogic environments.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving WebLogic-specific issues such as stuck threads, JDBC connection pool errors, and deployment failures.

- Strong understanding of WebLogic security configurations, including roles, policies, and authentication providers.

- Experience in managing JMS queues, distributed transactions, and other middleware components.
