Field Investigator / Insurance Claims Specialist

Responsibilities:

Investigate assigned insurance claims, including property damage, bodily injury, and liability. This may involve visiting accident scenes, interviewing witnesses and policyholders, and collecting evidence.
Analyze policy details and coverage to determine if a claim is valid and to what extent.
Assess the value of a claim and negotiate settlements with claimants.
Manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Prepare comprehensive reports documenting investigation findings and claim resolution.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities.
Identify and prevent potential fraudulent claims.
Communicate effectively with claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders, including repair shops and medical providers.
