3-Month Internship Program: Web development using NextJS / HTML / Javascript / CSS

Location: Gurgaon

Duration: 3 months

Start Date: April 2025

Stipend: 20,000-25,000/month (based on skill and experience)

About Us:

Torrins India is a leading provider of music education programs in schools throughout India, currently partnered with over 200 schools in 65 cities. Torrins was originally founded in the US in 2007 with Torrins.com, our online music learning platform for guitar, bass, piano, and drums. In 2017, we expanded our operations to India, working directly with schools. Last year, we piloted our evening class program and also launched our online instrument shop. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for enthusiastic interns to join our software development team for developing in-house web applications.

Position: Web Developer Intern with strong knowledge of NextJS / HTML / Javascript / CSS

Role Overview:

We are seeking talented and motivated interns to join our development team for a 3-month internship program focused on web development. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enhance your skills, and contribute to exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance

Essential Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of NextJS / Javascript / HTML / CSS
• Familiarity with integrating and working with APIs
• Good understanding of web development principles
• Good programming skills and a strong grasp of object-oriented design
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Outstanding analytical capabilities and attention to detail
• Natural drive for excellence and continuous optimization
• Curiosity, and drive to research and find solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Prior experience with NextJS / ReactJS / Javascript / HTML / CSS development (projects, internships, etc.)
• Knowledge of Core PHP, Laravel, AWS
