SAP B1 Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for SAP B1 development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes.
• Supports SAP ERP & B1 by implementing, solving break/fix issues, and by providing design and development of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows).
• Translates functional specifications into technical specifications with detailed knowledge of SAP tables/fields, and crystal reports.
• Works independently on high complexity designs & programs.
• Facilitates design meetings with users and management.
• Analyzes production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution.
• Follows and helps to establish coding standards.
• Creates and delivers documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts.
• Contributes to the achievement of team performance and quality standards as defined by service level agreements.
• Validates and administers approved change requests/tickets assigned.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Experience managing thousands of SKUs in SAP and GSI registration.
• Have experience writing the codes for Custom add ons (experience within the trading / Manufacturing / packaging / warehousing industry would be highly beneficial)
• Have previous experience working with SAP B1
• Have experience working with SQL and Crystal Reports
• Being a certified SAP B1 Developer would be beneficial
• Integrate, maintain and configure the SAP B1 add ons (SAP B1 Developer, Crystal Report, DI API,)
• SAP Business One Development experience (SDK)
• Provide patient support to a diverse group of customers
• Have experience as a .NET Developer in a C # environment and MVC
• Design and development of web applications based on innovative SAP platforms and SAP technologies such as SAP HANA
• Knowledge of SAP DI Api and DI SERVER
• Creating program and user documentation
• Ensuring the continuous development of existing applications
• Willingness to learn new technologies including web technologies.
• Must have a working knowledge of Shopify and SAP integrations to support finance and marketing as required.

Qualifications:

• Degree or comparable in the computer science area
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, specifically SAP B1
• Experience with object-oriented development in Java and/ or C# and/ or Vb.net
• Very good knowledge in front and backend web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
• Experience with web services (REST, SOAP)
• Database Application Knowledge (SQL)
• Knowledge in handling of data formats (JSON, XML)
• Experience with version control systems (GIT, TFVC)
• Experience with or knowledge of Shopify and SAP integration with same
• Good English language skills in both written and oral communication
• The ability to work US hours is a must
• Willingness to become involved in innovation and new technologies

What We Offer

• Hybrid role - some days you will work from Home and some from our office in Gurgaon, India. Full time remote (home) will be considered for the right candidate who does not live within commuting distance to the office.
