Senior AWS Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer who will work with

team members to build and improve current back-end applications and processes. The

Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and

tools to analyze current code and industry developments, formulate more efficient

processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for the users. You

should have excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.

To succeed as a back-end developer, you should be focused on building better and

more efficient programs and delivering an excellent end-user experience. You should be

knowledgeable, collaborative, and motivated.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-native applications on

AWS.

Architect and implement serverless and containerized solutions using AWS

Lambda, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security within AWS.

Ensure compliance with security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and

encryption.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS services using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and

other monitoring tools.

Perform and participate in code reviews, architecture design and technical

research.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new

features.
