Responsibilities:
o Conduct financial due diligence (FDD) and operational due diligence for potential M&A transactions.
o Analyze financial statements, identify key risks and opportunities, and prepare detailed reports.
o Perform market research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions.
o Assist in the development of M&A strategies and transaction structuring.
o Prepare financial models and valuation analyses.
o Support the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and portfolio companies.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure smooth transaction processes.
o Provide advisory support to portfolio companies on financial and operational matters.
o Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
o Analyze industry trends and market data to provide insights and recommendations.
o Work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
o Demonstrate leadership skills and take initiative to drive projects forward.
Qualifications:
- CA or CA+MBA credentials.
- 4+ years of experience in due diligence and advisory within consulting firms.
Experience in M&A (investment banking or corporate development) post-FDD/due diligence experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in the D2C, retail, or e-commerce sectors is preferred.
o Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
o Excellent analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
o Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Entrepreneurial drive, disciplined, and focused.
o Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
o Strong presentation and excel modeling skills.
