Executive / Senior Executive - Procurement

Job Position Summary
The Department will be responsible for crafting effective procurement strategies, finding cost-effective deals and suppliers, and supply chain management from initial requisition to invoice approvals. It will evaluate and buy products, and services while creating strategies to cut costs and meet company objectives and compliance with Procurement Policies and Procedures

Key Roles and Responsibilities

-Strict adherence to Companys Purchasing Policies and Procedures Handling Supply Chain Management and Procedures
-Vendor Evaluation and research potential vendors based on quality, standards, experience, delivery time, pricing and o rganizations requirements and expectations
-Comparing and Evaluating offers from Vendor, negotiate contract terms and pricing both for domestic and overseas procurement and services
-Proficient with applicable statutes like GST, With-holding Tax, Export Import regulations and documentation involved
-Interacting with user departments on their requirements and plan for procurement and implementing internal procurement strategies
-Periodic review of quality of products and services provided by vendors
-Assisting in preparation of Annual Procurement Budgets, establish cost parameters and carrying out cost analysis
-Preparation of monthly Purchase Reports and preparation of periodic Budget, Actuals and Cost Saving Analysis
-Submission of invoices to Accounts Department with supporting documents ie Purchase Orders, Delivery Receipts, Service Reports etc. and payment approvals as per Approval Matrix of Purchase Department
-Performing other purchase functions as directed by Purchase Manager.

 

Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications

-Graduate in any discipline with specialized qualification in Procurement Management.
-Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in supply chain management of reputed organization.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and service providers.
-Resourceful, self-driven and proactive.
-Proficient in use of MS Office Application and working experience in supply chain software and understanding of supply chain procedures.
-Strong analytical skills w ith ability to work o n procurement requirements, Budgets,Cost Analysis, Cost Control and Cost Savings aspects
