Mechanical Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

• Generation of GA drawings, detail drawings, shop drawing, erection drawings.
• Preparation of bill of material.
• Co-ordination with vendors. Checking of vendor drawings.
• Data entry of BOM in SAP.
• Detail knowledge of boiler pressure parts, NPP, piping, ducting, refractory & insulation, feeding arrangement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting & checking of drawing.
• Knowledge of welding symbols.
• Self motivated & able to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills.
• Software Autocad, E3D, any other drafting software.
• Knowledge of layout engineering of cable trays will be added advantage.
