Regional Construction Manager

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Regional Construction Manager with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and over 18 years of experience in managing Greenfield Industrial Projects, including sugar plants, power plants, and carbon plants. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple construction projects within the Naidupeta region, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of Greenfield industrial projects in Naidupeta, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 18 years of experience in managing Greenfield industrial projects, specifically in sugar plants, power plants, and carbon plants.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to travel frequently within the Naidupeta region as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building standards.
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
