Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Artwork Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and visualizing Fabric /Garment prints & Graphics using Cad softwares such as Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Clo 3D etc and possesses a strong understanding of Apparel. This role will be responsible for making new artwork files for sampling and grading artwork files for production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create artwork files for licensed line products.
- Strong proficiency In CAD softwares like Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Experienced in creating placement prints, all over prints and engineered patterns.
- Understanding of Different Print techniques( Digital, sublimation, Screen print, color separation etc)
- Strong attention to details, color sense and artist flair.
- Coordinate with in-house pattern masters to develop patterns in line with brand team discussions.
- Supervise the cutting of panels to ensure precision and adherence to designs.
- Develop sample size artwork files for sublimation panels (to scale) as per style-wise patterns.
- Create size set artwork files based on graded patterns for each style.
- Prepare artwork layouts for bulk production, ensuring alignment with fabric width and style specifications.
- Collaborate with third-party CAD designers to optimize artwork accuracy.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on printed panels before cutting for both sampling and bulk production.
- Work closely with the Product Development (PD) team throughout the design and production process.
- Maintain open communication with the project management team to provide updates on design progress.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including periodic reviews of brand tech packs.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an import/export house and/or printing unit.
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques.
- Proficiency in vector-based software (Adobe Illustrator preferred).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
