Strategic Analyst - Energy Transition

Role & responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO in implementing strategic initiatives
• Scan the external environment for new technologies that could benefit Thermax
• Measure the business impact delivered by research teams and projects
• Track the execution of strategic initiatives across Thermax
• Develop communication and branding strategies with strategic partners and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of ESG investments and research needs
• Help integrate digital transformation and change management in relevant areas
• Partner with other Thermax business units
• Organize events and workshops to achieve strategic goals set by the CTO

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-8 years post-B. Tech or 1-2 Years post PhD in managing technology and innovation initiatives, understanding technical and research literature, performing analytics, and developing communications strategies preferable in chemicals, energy, and/or environmental engineering organizations.

• Project Management and Governance
• Experience with energy transformation, sustainable technologies, and green energy initiatives around the world
• Background in working with R&D and business development teams
• Background in chemical engineering, management principles, change management, and adjacent disciplines
• Ability to effectively interface with senior stakeholders within and outside Thermax
• Strong proficiency in analytics and digital tools
• Ability to grasp & integrate new AI-based tools in the workflow
