Nurse

We are looking an experienced Nurse, with the following profile:

Educational Qualifications: B.Sc (Nursing)/GNM

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience preferably in rehab facility or hospital providing service to persons suffering from mental illness.

• Job Profile:
• Nurse needs to be energetic perceptive, versatile, compassionate and patient attitude towards members (patients).
• Caring for members, building relationships and responding to their physical and emotional well being while delivering effective care.
• Dealing with the specific symptoms of mental illness de-escalating stressful situations and helping patients overcome challenges.
• Interacting with families of members, other care staff, offering advice and information on members conditions.
• Preparing and maintaining members records, producing care plans and risk assessments.
• To take/hand over proper charge from/to the staff on duty of all the resident members in terms of special needs of each individual member.
• Administering members medications according to the prescribed schedule and monitoring results.
• Supervise the breakfast, lunch & dinner served to the resident members of the Halfway Home/Long Stay Home.
• Ensure that the residents sleep on time while on night duty and take rounds at regular intervals.
• Ensure personal hygiene of all the members, making of their beds and readiness to participate in the Day Care activities in the morning.
• Be available at night on rotational basis.
• Any other need that may arise for smooth functioning of the organisation
