Our Client is a US-based company that converts carbon emissions into sustainable fuels and chemicals.
Our client's products are low-carbon footprint materials produced via their proprietary gas fermentation process which utilizes recycled carbon emissions as the feedstock for new and more sustainable materials.
Position Overview:
The Manager - HR & Administration will take on a leadership role in managing the company's India office's human resources and administrative operations (Around 50 people now). This mid-management position requires close collaboration with the Gurgaon office team, the Panipat site team, and the global headquarters in Chicago.
Location: Gurgaon
CTC: 35 L - 40 L
Experience: 10 - 15 years
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the local office while aligning with global standards.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes for the Gurgaon office and provide support to the Panipat site team as needed.
- Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and career development initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Administer compensation, and benefits, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related queries and issues for India-based employees.
Administration:
- Supervise the overall administration of the Gurgaon office to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office supplies, IT infrastructure, and other administrative needs.
- Oversee travel arrangements, logistics, and event coordination for employees.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Provide administrative support for site operations in Panipat and liaise with the global headquarters for reporting and communication.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
Education: A Master's degree or MBA in HR.
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in HR and administration roles, preferably in MNCs.
Proven track record in managing HR operations, recruitment, administration, and employee relations.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Other Requirements:
- Must be based in Gurgaon and available to work regularly from the DLF Cybercity office.
- Flexibility to coordinate with teams in different time zones, including Chicago and Panipat.
