We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager and will play a crucial role in expanding our funding base and maximizing business opportunities through financial support from corporate, Institutional funders and like-minded organizations, forging strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth for conservation work in India.

This role requires a combination of relationshipbuilding, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Roles And Responsibilities.

Business Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets, identify potential funding opportunities to meet shortand long-term revenue goals.

Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align business development activities with TNC Indias overall mission and objectives.

Market and Partnership Development: Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities, including consulting services, partnerships, and strategic alliances with private sector companies, government agencies, and NGOs.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.

Lead negotiations and close deals that align with TNC Indias mission and financial goals.

Proposal Development and Contract Management: Lead the development of high-quality proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients and partners.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical experts, to ensure proposals and contracts meet organizational standards and client requirements.

Project Management: Manage and oversee the implementation of partnership initiatives and projects.

This includes coordinating with internal teams, tracking progress, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of agreed-upon outcomes.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of partnership activities, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success.

Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results to stakeholders and senior management.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and effective communication between internal teams and external partners.

Ensure that all parties are informed, engaged, and working towards shared goals.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partnership opportunities and assess the competitive landscape.

Other incidental work as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING.

Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, finance, Fundraising or similar area.

A minimum of 7 yearsyears progressive overall experience out of which at least [5] years plus should have been in generating Funds in a similar functional context.

Experience in managing client and account relationships.

Experience in soliciting and managing Private Foundations, Philanthropic donors, Multilateral and Bilateral donors.

Experience in negotiating agreements.

Desired Qualifications.

Master level degree and 7-10 yearsexperience in fundraising, with a track record of successfully raising substantial funds (fundraising experience in a nonprofit environment is preferred).

Able to articulate strategies for soliciting and cultivating gifts, sponsorships, experience of grant writing.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Able to use various databases to run reports.

A prior knowledge of BBCRM software would be an added advantage.

Experience in conceiving, developing, and managing multiple stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.

Proven strong development and fund-raising management skills.

Advanced understanding of best practices in non-profit management.

Multi-lingual skills appreciated.

Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience preferred.

Experience leading in a team-based environment with internal and/or external partners.

Experience applying marketing principles on projects/programs.

Practical knowledge of current and evolving trends related to field of experience.

Experience in conceiving and writing creatively for various audiences from technical information.

Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas in a compelling manner.

Detailed knowledge of procedures and terms in relevant field of experience.
