Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth, focusing on both manufacturing and merchant export sectors.
- Analyze market conditions, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to refine the company's sales approach.
- Identify new business opportunities in key markets, including international markets for exports.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear sales targets and ensuring the team is equipped with the tools and training necessary to achieve them.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales staff.
Key Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, importers, and large-scale buyers in both domestic and international markets.
- Oversee negotiations, closing of high-value deals, and the successful execution of contracts.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
International Sales and Export Management:
- Identify and pursue export opportunities in target regions and markets.
- Develop international partnerships and distribution channels to increase the company's export footprint.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and logistics requirements to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Market Expansion & Business Development:
- Drive business development initiatives to open new markets and verticals within the engineering sector.
- Expand the company's presence in untapped domestic and international markets.
- Form strategic alliances with other manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors to enhance market reach.
Product and Market Knowledge:
- Work closely with the R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure a deep understanding of the company's products and capabilities.
- Ensure the sales team is equipped with relevant technical and product knowledge to effectively sell the company's engineering solutions.
- Monitor competitor products, technologies, and pricing to adjust sales strategies as necessary.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Set, monitor, and achieve individual and team sales targets, aligning them with the company's overall revenue goals.
- Prepare regular sales reports, sales forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify performance trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create sales collateral, campaigns, and trade promotions that effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Work with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and manage customer expectations.
