The Hosteller Hospitality - Full Stack Engineer - Next.js/React.js (1-4 yrs)

The Hosteller, one of India's fastest-growing backpacker hostel chains, is looking for a skilled Full Stack MERN / NextJS Developer to join our team. This role requires expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS/NextJS, Node.js, and MongoDB.

- Convert wireframes into functional and responsive web applications.

- Design and implement APIs/services using GraphQL.

- Architect and optimize scalable web applications.

- Ensure high code quality by writing unit and integration tests.

- Work in a cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end features.

- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first responsive design.

- Maintain and improve the overall user experience (UX/UI) of the platform.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (ReactJS, NextJS).

- Strong experience with Node.js and Express for backend development.

- Hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs and JSON parsing.

- Good understanding of the HTTP protocol, RESTful services, and server-side processing.

- Knowledge of front-end optimization, caching techniques, and performance best practices.

- Experience in cross-browser development and troubleshooting.

- Solid grasp of responsive design principles for web, tablet, and mobile applications.

- Understanding of usability, accessibility, web standards, and navigation best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- A portfolio showcasing past projects (wireframes, UI design, and web applications).

Preferred Qualifications :

- 1+ years of experience in Web Applications or SaaS Product Development.

- Experience with asynchronous GraphQL services.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
